Amici di Cosimo gets out from Liguria and with the help of its new associates Davide Baracchi and Giovanni Franchi organized during the weekend of june 17th and 18th, 2011 the first edition of The Seven, a rugby seven tournament set in the amazing Arena Daturi, wonderfully placed in the heart of the historic centre of Piacenza.

The tournament has been organized jointly with Piacenza municipality and has been part of the "Venerdi Piacentini"; it began in the morning of friday the 17th and for two whole days turned the park into a rugby fair, with drinks, food and live music.

Benevento Rugby won the tournament of which you can find here some pictures and the success of this edition strenghten our wish of turning this event into a must-do in the following years, in order to help the spreading of the olympic version of rugby.

Main aim of the happening has been also, as usual, the fund raising for Amici di Cosimo to help the association in all its activities, in particular on the spread of SicuRugby, to help prevention on rugby injuries.
