On 17th August the ties between Amici di Cosimo and Cadimare were further strengthened. This time Cadimare 2000 Onlus honoured our association with an exhibition space and helped us spread the word of safety and injury prevention in rugby during the annual event "Cadimare...sapori e colori del Golfo" ("Cadimare...tastes and colours from the gulf"). The entire evening was dedicated to the theme of rules of sport along with their respect and importance as a metaphor of every day life.

Thanks to the efforts of the organisers it was possible to bring together to Cadimare sporting representatives from different levels, the following were present: Panathlon International, represented by the local president Maurizio Marro, the La Spezia section of A.N.F.F.A.S., organizers of the last edition of Special Olympics represented by Pino Coco, Veri Eroi with Massimiliano Ferla and Mauro Bornia, sportsman and president of the Council's department for the handicapped and Afrodite Onlus association who were moderator of the event.

The evening's highlights were the presentations from Matteo Liperini and Fabrizio Zucchi (the former a top rugby referee and the latter a referee selector for Tuscany) which allowed us to better understand the rules of sport, along with the presentation from Luca Maggiani, from La Spezia and international football referee assistant. All kindly gave their time and we would like to thank the respective federations for their support.

Let's hope that this year's event can become a regular appointment for our association. We would like to warmly thank everybody who participated in the evening and allowed us once again to present ourselves and collect funds for our activity of safety in rugby and injury prevention. A special thanks to Giuseppe Meola and Michele Bifulco for their support and dedication, along with all the members of Cadimare 2000 for the opportunity they gave us!
